Nintendo Wii's MotionPlus arriving in June
The Wii MotionPlus accessory that Nintendo promises will deliver more precise motion control hits retail in June, says the company in a release.
The remote accessory will release on June 8 for $19.99. The first games to use the add-on will be Electronic Arts' Grand Slam Tennis and Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10, both of which arrive a week later.
As for the sequel to Nintendo's highly-popular Wii Sports, the company has also revealed Wii Sports Resort will ship on July 26. The game and accessory will be packaged together for $49.99.
Nintendo says the MotionPlus will more accurately track a player's arm position and orientation, "providing a true 1:1 response in their game play," according to a statement from the accesory's unveiling last year.
Wii Sports Resort introduces a series of new, outdoor challenges such as frisbee tossing, jet skiing and swordfighting. Head here for more details from our coverage at last year's Electronic Entertainment Expo.
