Computer Education Update

This week began with the completion of our spreadsheets that we used for pricing our items. These prices will be needed when we are in business, as well as for our catalogs, and websites.
We, also, spent 2 days on the topics of Cyber Security and Cyber Bullying. Within our lesson on Cyber Security we discussed viruses, including worms and trojan horses, spyware, adware and how to keep our machines up and running and free of these nuisances. We learned a little about how a computer works, which is needed to understand how spyware and adware affect our machines.
We discussed the problem of bullying, in general, and, specifically, cyber bullying. Our word of the day:
Ask your child if they know what that means.
Our song for the day was "If Everyone Cared" by Nickelback.
"If everyone cared and nobody cried,
if everyone loved and nobody lied,
If everyone shared and swallowed their pride,
then we'd see the day, when nobody died."
